seriously idiotic

Sitting in lonely office lounge

For last three weeks I am working in my new assignment in Microsoft building. As a vendor I do not qualify for a office with MSFT. The whole day I have to sit in a office far from the actual team in my actual company's office ... Hah! every time I have to discuss with my fellow developers/testers or PMs, I have walk to MS building and go back. It is so boring though I like walking and do walk a lot till I get a car ... Now in three days I have to complete my code as my senior developer left for a vacation ... So to save every ones time I start searching for a empty place and some pointed me to a lounge which is empty ... So I just got there and saw 2-3 desktops and a lady working in her laptop ... she is contractor/vendor it seems ... so I asked her if someone using the desktops rather the desks ... and the answer is 'No' ... how good! ... somehow the previous ppl left the lounge for some unknown reasons ... who cares ... I just took over a desk and start working ... well at least for some weeks I do not have sit a mile far from my team ... I can bug my PM any time and testers can also bug me ... quite fair ... well now a days MS lounges are getting converted to offices ... the reasons may be population explosion ... but lounge as usual bigger than normal office rooms, so sitting in lounge with walls (fake poster boards) on every side makes you feel quite lonely ... yeah you have lots of machines, monitors and networks cable and power cables lying here and there ... but they don't talk you know :D ... I told a lady also sits in the lounge ... well we do say 'Hi' to each other but nothing more than that ... we pretend we are working hard ... in my last project I had lots of people to talk to but no respect for my work ... current team is good but very less people to talk to ... may be its because I am new to the team which is already completed a year and half ... but you know the advantages of quiet lounge ... after all its not my office so not listed in outlook properties :-) so people do not expect me to find me there other way if they know I am sitting in the lounge and don't find me there they just assume I am sitting in another place ... well I am not saying this because I love to play hide n seek in office but just think how much fun it is ...
