2007 will be the year for Microsoft. MS always ready to grab every market they can ... Now it is to play the biggest bets ... The Internet war with Google ... Free Web Applications and Ads ... Web OS ... In a small time the Search giant Google has given MS a real hard time with its concept of web workplace(webtop) for users ... where MS had always relied on its proprietary desktop applications ... Releasing Windows Vista and Office 2007 at the same time, MS is trying to surprise the tech world. But living to its reputation MS, giving the buggiest softwares to market, it is struggling on security and initial adoption ... MS has hurried upon releasing and given some half cooked softwares it seems ... the service packs will be on its way soon, a tradition of MS softwares what they called support (my windows directory keep increasing on application of service packs!!!) ... MS softwares may not add noticeable features but will improve on graphics and system requirements for sure ... new versions always give the hardware market a push ... Vista requires more memory, more processor speed, more processors, more disk space more more more ... Windows security has been always a joke to hackers and it will be ... Office 2007 becomes flashy and heavy ... MS is building Live services as a competing platform for Google services ... What MS is good at are Replicating its rival technology and adding some more user friendly features ... Graphics in any windows software and Windows itself been a primary goal for MS developers ... Take Zune, it is by features no where better than iPod but it tries to boost on the bigger screen (Seeing video in Zune/iPod :O who wants to!!! ... How many times we share music between music players). Then XBOX, it is inferior to PS3 in processing power, memory but try to be better in online playing, package contents ...
